Barefoot Massage therapy has been approved previously by the CMTO as well as MTANS and many other provinces. I was part of the 2nd class in Canada to have graduated from a barefoot massage therapy program in Ontario back in 2013. There is nothing within the scope of practice that says massage therapy has to be done with the hands & that's why we have other body saving modalities such as cupping, graston, guasha, hot stone, thai massage etc etc. I do appreciate however that barefoot treatments are a lesser known way of soft tissue treatment but that's the awareness I am trying to bring about with these trainings. We have specific hygiene & set up standards that we follow & below are the links to those videos for general review.

I don’t often provide ‘full body’ workshops. One of my main aims is to set every participant up for success after the live workshop is complete. I’ve found in the past that trying to teach all areas dilutes the climate of therapeutic thought in the scope of live workshops so now teach in a layered approach that focuses on my speciality of knowledge & common therapeutic treatment dynamics. A holistic approach to care is always in mind.

All of our workshops have an experiential anatomy component that is signature to our learning experiences. That means while the appropriate review material is offered through out every workshop, our goal is for you to kinesthetically learn & master a dimensional understanding of the body. We’ll achieve this by way of yoga, pilates & somatic viewpoints as well as discuss evidence based approaches. Always expect to receive as a body on the table just as much as you’ll be encouraged to follow along in a demo & repeat style of teaching.
